Revolving Doors
Our Grand® and MiniGrand® revolving door systems are ideally suited to the requirements of healthcare facilities. These doors have the right diameter and speed to accommodate wheelchairs, walkers and gurneys.
Healthcare Sliding Doors
Engineered to meet the challenging demands of medical facilities, which operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Swinging and Folding Doors
These systems provide ADA -compliant handicap door openers and high-traffic automatic access. Swing door operators can be installed on new door systems or as an upgrade to an existing system. Folding doors are very versatile and provide perfect solutions for very large openings and narrow corridors that require wide openings in a narrow space.
Manual Swing Smoke Rated Doors
Staff, as well as patients, appreciate design details such as Mini-Blind and Opaque glass for privacy, light control, and hygiene. Larger openings for moving beds and equipment are also now possible with the smoke-rated telescoping door system.
Patient Room Door Systems
These systems allow the option to leave doors completely or partially open without the need to break out the doors. These doors are ideal for optimum space utilization.
Pressure Rooms Doors
Hospitals have air infiltration requirements for negative, positive and combination pressure isolation rooms, such as operating theaters and isolation infection rooms. Atmospheric Sliding Doors are designed to meet clean room standards. These doors are excellent laboratories and pharmacies that must meet the most stringent cleanliness standards.
Critical Care and Intensive Care Door Systems
In an ICU environment, patients must always be in full view through a glass door. These glass panels can swing out of the way in an emergent situation.
S4100LE Surface Applied
Ideal choice for heavy/oversized doors and applications subject to, stack pressure, and heavy pedestrian traffic. Easily converted from low energy to full energy.
S7100 Surface Applied
Best suited for interior applications with standard weight/size doors, the 7100 offers easy adjustment of opening and closing speeds, obstruction sensing, and Push-N-Go technology.
Smoke-Rated Swing
Horton Automatics offers these manual swing doors in equal, unequal, and pair configurations. Looking for a custom design? These systems can incorporate mini-blind glass and/or fire-rated panel options.
Folding Access
Automatic folding doors used in corridor applications. Multiple configurations available including fold-in and fold-out. Magnetic locks are also available with fold-out option.
AIIR Self Closing Isolation Door
Designed where a hospital anteroom is required, the self-closing manual IDS is in compliance with the 2018 FGI (Facilities Guidelines Institute) guidelines for Airborne Isolation Infection Rooms (AIIR).
Slide Doors
The Profiler®-ICU is available with standard and custom non-smoke rated configurations in single, biparting, and telescoping designs. Select units are ISO 14644-3 certified for Class 3 cleanroom.
Smoke Rated Slide Doors
The smoke-rated sliding ICU systems are available in multiple configurations with concealed high-temperature gaskets or brush designs.
Isolation Infection Rooms (AIIR)
Designed where a hospital anteroom is required, the automatic ICU Door Systems is in compliance with the 2018 FGI (Facilities Guidelines Institute) guidelines for Airborne Isolation Infection Rooms (AIIR).
S2003 Belt Drive
Designed with a six-inch tall by six-inch wide header, the ProSlide™ 2003 sliding belt drive is a heavy-duty system capable of handling door panels up to 250lbs and all commercial applications. This heavy-duty belt drive door system is engineered to provide long life and quiet operation in high traffic environments.
Automatic Revolving Door
The AutoFlow, MiniGrand and Grand automatic door systems are ideal for heavy traffic with energy savings in mind.
Manual Revolving Door
The EasyFlow™ Manual Series 9500 is a low-cost energy-efficient alternative to an automatic revolving door system. The EasyFlow™ Manual Series 9900 adds power-assist automatic homing to the manual revolving door system.
S2001 Super Duty
Designed for heavy-duty applications, this system uses a 2001 belt drive header and is available in non, partial and full breakout configurations.
PSF 70/80/85
The HD-Storm™ is tested to Miami-Dade standards to withstand pressures up to 85 PSF and is available in Full and Partial breakout configurations.
PSF 45/55
The ProfilerStorm® 2000B automatic sliding door systems are ideal for coastal hurricane and high wind applications.

Architects at ZGF specified Horton Automatics for the sliding and swing doors. Bi-parting automatic sliding doors were installed in the ambulance, ER and main entrances. In the patient rooms, ZGF specified both smoke-rated and non-smoke rated manual ICU doors. Some of which are non-breakaway and some have full break-out capabilities for ease in moving beds in and out of the rooms.
